Per's first page - The journey begins, from Denmark to the Slovak border.

Per's fourth page - from Călăraşi to the Romanian ghost town of Baile-Herculane, on the Cerna River, with a long history as a place of thermal springs from Roman times.
Per's fifth page - from Baile-Herculane to Oravita, upstream of the Iron Gates Gorge of the Danube.
Per's sixth page - from Oravita to Budapest, crossing the Tisza River, and travelling for some of the way through Serbia.
Per's seventh page - from Budapest to Wörth an der Donau, passing through the archeologically important Dolni Vestonice in the Czech Republic, and the beautiful town of Passau, where the Inn meets the Danube.
