Distribution of the figures of Niaux (according to Leroi-Gourhan on the plan of Molard).
A. Rods at the entrance and signs connected in an alcove to the right.
B. Rods, great panel of signs around the gallery, lines of points.
C. Secondary gallery with a bull recorded in the ground.
D. Rods and connected signs opposite to group B.
E. Engravings in the ground at the entrance of the Salon Noir. Combination bull-goat sign isolated and a joint bison-horse-goat.
F. Engravings in the ground of the Salon Noir. The first group includes a horse and a very problematic rhino, the second a complete composition of connected bison-horse-signs (?and?) goat.
G. Set of the panels of the Noir Hall. To notice the connected claviformes signs to the two extremities (IV), the regularity of presence of the fundamental subject bison-horse-goat in each panel. For alcove II the repetition of the signs in each successive plane is very cleanly, as the presence of the red deer and the man () completely to the bottom. To also notice the presence of the red deer and the feline to the aim of continuous series 1-II-III-IV and the one of the fish to the aim of total series VII.
H. Red panel of the "dying bison": vertical bison, claviformes points, signs and rods.
I. Bison on mud with connected signs. Bearded horse and signs in red on wall.
K. Figures beyond the "green lake". Confronted and bull, painted goats in black.
K. Inverted head of horse using an accident of the wall. L. Set of the terminal lake: put grates on sign aberrant, points and rods. Previous goat without head nor legs, marked with a red point.
M. Beyond the terminal lake: connected signs. They lack many animals, aside from those of the Réseau Clastres.
Distribución de las figuras de Niaux (según Leroi-Gourhan sobre plano de Molard).
A. Bastoncillos de entrada y signos acoplados en una alcoba a la derecha.
B. Bastoncillos, gran panel de signos a la vuelta de la galería, líneas de puntos.
C. Galería secundaria con un toro grabado en el suelo.
D. Bastoncillos y signos acoplados enfrente del grupo B.
E. Grabados en el suelo a la entrada del Salon Noir. Combinación toro-cabra-signo aislado y un conjunto bisonte-caballo-cabra.
F. Grabados en el suelo del Salon Noir. El primer grupo comprende un caballo y un rinoceronte muy problemático, el segundo una composicion completa bisonte-caballo-signos acoplados mas cabra.
G. Conjunto de los paneles del Salon Noir. A notar los signos claviformes acoplados a las dos extremidades (I-VI), la regularidad de presencia del tema fundamental bisonte-caballo-cabra en cada panel. Para la alcoba II la repetición de los signos en cada plano sucesivo es muy limpia, como la presencia del ciervo y el hombre (?) completamente al fondo. A notar igualmente la presencia del ciervo y del felino al fin de la serie continua 1-II-III-IV y la de los peces al fin de la serie
total VII.
H. Panel rojo del «bisonte moribundo»: bisonte vertical, puntos, signos claviformes y bastoncillos.
I. Bisonte sobre barro con signos acoplados. Caballo y signos barbados en rojo sobre pared.
K. Figuras más allá del «lago verde». Cabras afrontadas y toro, pintadas en negro.
K. Cabeza de caballo invertida utilizando un accidente de la pared.
L. Conjunto del lago terminal: signo enrejado aberrante, puntos y bastoncillos. Cabra sin cabeza ni patas anteriores, marcado con un punto rojo.
M. Más allá del lago terminal: signos acoplados.
Faltan muchos animales, aparte de los del Réseau Clastres. El texto antecedente es traducción del pie de la figura de Leroi-Gourhan.
